Towards the ed of 2009, I was asked by the massively impressive Ramsey Khoury of Headlondon to come on-board to work on a project for the English Language Teaching (ELT) division of the very august Oxford University Press, and I was delightedto accept.

The project turned out to be a complete overhaul of the ELT website at, taking a very committed and knowledgeable client team through a rigorous user-centred design proces, starting with user research and persona creation, and moving through paper sketches all the way through high resolution wireframes through to fabulous and rather lovely visual designs.

The OUP team were fabulous to work with: interested and fully engaged, always asking questions, and always willing to listen to reasoned arguments. The engagement was also made easy by the high quality of the people at Head, who were supportive, friendly and brilliantly professional in equal measure.
